1. Overview
This plan is an innovative group savings and protection policy designed to offer financial protection to members of the group. The plan guarantees the payment of the investment amount with accrued interest at maturity and a pre-determined Sum Assured, to a named beneficiary in the event of an unforeseen circumstance happening to the life assured.
2. Features
- The minimum duration is two years.
- The minimum monthly contribution is N2,000
- The minimum protected amount (Sum Assured) is N50,000
- Guaranteed returns is linked to treasury bills rate
- The minimum age at entry is 18 years and the maximum age at entry is 60 years.
3. Product Benefits
- It allows for a deposit-target savings for members of the association/organisation with a guarantee return on investment.
- The organisation/association incurs no extra budgetary expense by way of paying death benefits from the account of the organisation/association as a result risk is transferred from your association to us as your insurance consultant since prior provision had been made through the plan.
- It provides instant financial assistance that will augment other benefit payable to the dependents of any member at the occurrence of an unforeseen event.
- Premium payable in respect of each member is affordable making it a cost effective method of providing a target savings which is payable at maturity or at surrender and life assurance benefit for the dependents of the member if an unforeseen event happens.
