1. Overview
The Tangerine Group Life plan is designed to provide comfort for an employee, his family and his employer if the employee is unable to keep working as a result of critical illness, permanent disability or death. The plan provides payment of death benefit as a lump sum. This sum is usually at least 3 times the annual salary of the employee and it is paid to the nominated beneficiaries of the deceased employee.

- For the private sector, the Group Life Plan applies to organisations with 3 or more employees.
- The employees have access to our online platform, to allow you manage and update your list of beneficiaries easily.
- The premium is usually paid annually but other premium payment terms are available
- Employees between the ages of 18 - 65 are eligible for the Group Life Plan
